Labor Day weekend will start early this year when Spafford hits the stage at Sculpture Park in downtown Denver, CO on September 2nd [get your tickets here].

The jam quartet’s Thursday show will serve as an unofficial welcome party for all the fans flying in to see Phish at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City that weekend.

The show will mark just the 12th show of the year for Spafford following a 2020 schedule similarly stunted by COVID. The band came roaring back to life in April with a two-night run of pod shows at Mesa, AZ’s Marquee Theater—originally rescheduled from New Year’s Eve, which instead saw the group perform for an empty house to a livestream audience.

Since returning to full-capacity performances with a triumphant late-night set at The Peach Music Festival last month, Spafford has been on a tear. With eight shows slotted between the group’s Peach comeback and Sculpture Park, the band will be more than primed and ready to rock with audiences in the Mile High City.
