On Thursday night, Spafford continued their 2019 fall tour with the first of two shows at The 8×10 in Baltimore, MD. To close out their second set, Spafford welcomed Baltimore native and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong guitarist Jeremy Schon to lend a helping hand on a Men At Work cover.

Spafford—comprised of guitarist Brian Moss, bassist Jordan Fairless, keyboardist Red Johnson, and drummer Nick Tkachyk—opened up their first set with “Red’s Jam”, which seamlessly flowed into a segue of “Funkadelic” into “Windmill”. The quartet then debuted a new original, “Ginger Stardust”, before closing out the first frame with “Plans”.

Following a brief setbreak, Spafford returned to open up their second set with “Dirtybath”, which flowed into a cover of Bob Marley‘s “Exodus”. Moving out of “Exodus”, the four-piece continued on with “Galisteo Way” and “Eternity” before inviting up Schon for a set-closing cover of Men At Work’s “Down Under”.
