Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers have announced a co-headlining tour, dubbed “The Summer of Living Dangerously”! For two months this summer, the 70’s pop/soft/yacht rock bands will join forces and share the stage in over 30 cities across the United States. Recently, Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen filed a lawsuit against the estate of his late bandmate Walter Becker, who died earlier this year in September, over the rights to continue to use the name Steely Dan for performances. With this new announcement, it’s clear who won the case.

Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers’ “The Summer of Living Dangerously” tour will hit virtually every major Amphitheatre and Pavilion across the country, with a stop in Toronto, ON toward the end of the run. The festivities will kick off on May 10 in Charlotte, NC at the PNC Music Pavilion, and will hit major venues like Verizon Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA, Ascend Amphitheatre in Nashville, TN, Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA, The Forum in Los Angeles, CA, Shoreline Amphitheater in San Francisco, CA, Pepsi Center in Denver, CO, Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Chicago, IL, Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY, and Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, NY. The tour will conclude at the famed Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 12 at 8am local time for most shows, with the exception of few indicated in the spread sheet via JamBase below.
