Steve Earle has announced the lineup for the seventh annual John Henry’s Friends benefit concert. Set to take place at The Town Hall in New York, NY on December 13th, the show will feature Bruce Springsteen, Rosanne Cash, and more.
Also on tap for the concert are Willie Nile, The Mastersons, and Matt Savage as well as Steve Earle & The Dukes, who will perform in addition to hosting. The annual benefit show for The Keswell School returns to a live format in 2021 after going digital in 2020. The online edition of Earle’s concert hosted sets from Emmylou Harris, Graham Nash, Warren Haynes, Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires, and many more.
All donations from the free event will go directly to The Keswell School. As the event’s organizer, Earle has a personal connection to the educational program as his son, John Henry, for whom the show is named, is a student. The organization was founded in 2002 on the belief that those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can still go on to live rich, productive lives. Through a series of educational, therapeutic, and supportive services, The Keswell School challenges students to succeed in an academic setting while preparing them for a lifetime of engagement in the world.
