Steve Miller Band has announced an upcoming summer tour of North America called the Americana Tour. The run of 40 shows will see the classic rock mainstay joined by Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives and Gary Mule Deer at various gigs throughout the United States, and by Matthew Curry in Canada.

The tour kicks off at Travis County Expo Center in Austin, TX on June 13th, just two days after Miller is set to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California. From there, Miller and company will traverse the United States and Canada throughout the summer months. The Americana Tour will also feature two festival appearances, where Miller will play alongside the likes of Brian Wilson and Taj Mahal.

“Touring with Marty and the Superlatives is inspirational,” Miller said. “This is undoubtedly one of the most talented touring combinations I’ve ever been involved in. We look forward to continuing working together to explore the roots of American Music. Adding the musical comedy of Gary Mule Deer to the show will be an unexpected treat for our fans. I’m delighted to be able to tour with these great artists and to bring the Steve Miller Band audience the best of the best.”
