On Sunday night, The String Cheese Incident hit the stage in Telluride, Colorado, for their second of two nights headlining the RIDE Festival alongside fellow Sunday performers Joe Russo’s Almost DeadGrace PotterChris Robinson BrotherhoodDhani HarrisonQuaker City Night Hawks, and New Respects.

On night one of the festival, SCI welcomed fellow Saturday artist Sheryl Crow to join them for a rendition of the Allman Brothers Band‘s “Midnight Rider”. The band continued the trend on Sunday, inviting Chris Robinson to take lead vocals on a rendition of Al Green classic “Take Me To The River”. Robinson also joined Joe Russo’s Almost Dead earlier in the day for a cover of the Grateful Dead‘s “Bertha“.

During the sit-in, percussionist Jason Hann set aside a few seconds onstage to capture some video of the festivities, which he shared to the band’s Facebook page. You can watch Chris Robinson perform with Cheese from Hann’s perspective below:

The String Cheese Incident’s two-night RIDE Festival gig marks the beginning of their seven-date stint in their home state of Colorado. The run continues tomorrow with a two-night run at the newly renovated Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, CO on Tuesday, July 17th, and Wednesday, July 18th, followed by their three-night engagement at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this coming weekend, from Friday, July 20th, through Sunday, July 22nd.
