The String Cheese Incident have shared pro-shot footage of their collaboration with DJ Logic on “Let’s Go Outside”. The sit-in comes from the band’s 2015 Valentine’s Day performance at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas.

“Let’s Go Outside” opened the second set of the evening, following a first set that saw renditions of “Shine”, “Lost”, Bob Marley and The Wailers‘ “Could You Be Loved”, “Sirens”, “Colorado Bluebird Sky”, and more.

The video opens as Jason Hann and Michael Travis begin laying down the song’s rhythm section, with the formidable DJ Logic providing some record scratching soon after. For the first few minutes of the song, these three musicians are the only ones onstage as they collaborate on cross-genre grooves. After nearly four minutes of back and forth collaboration, keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth throws his own spices into the stew, with Michael KangKeith Moseley, and finally Bill Nershi joining in to complete this heady broth. The freeform jam finally takes shape about halfway through the clip as the band launches into the Hollingsworth-penned tune from 2014’s Song In My Head. As Cheese moves through the familiar tune, doing what they do best, DJ Logic gives the song some added flavor and makes this a one-of-a-kind version of a band staple.
