Today, The String Cheese Incident has announced that they will headline the Saturday night festivities at the Colorado Kind Festival, a two-night 25th-anniversary celebration for Boulder, CO’s Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery. The celebration is set to take place at Lyons, CO’s Planet Bluegrass on Friday, September 14th, and Saturday, September 15th.

According to the announcement, which marks Colorado Kind Festival’s first artist confirmation, the next band on the lineup will be announced next Tuesday, July 31st, before they make their full lineup announcement the following Tuesday, August 7th. Tickets and on-site camping passes for the Mountain Sun 25th-anniversary celebration at Planet Bluegrass are available now via the event’s website.

This new announcement comes on the heels of a seven-night run for the String Cheese Incident in their home state of Colorado. The run began with a pair of headlining shows at The RIDE Festival in Telluride, which saw the band welcome Sheryl Crow and Chris Robinson on July 14th and July 15th, respectively. From there, String Cheese headed to the newly renovated Dillon Amphitheatre in Dillon for two nights before rounding out the run with three fantastic performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 20th through 22nd.
