This week, String Cheese Incident has been solidifying their future plans for 2018, with the announcement of a three-night run in the South built around their headlining performance at SweetWater 420 Festival in Atlanta, GA, in April. Yesterday, the group also revealed their support for the annual three-night run at their home state’s iconic outdoor music venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, in July.

While last year the band tapped local Colorado artists to serve as their support for the run, this year, the String Cheese Incident has tapped acts from across the country to celebrate in their Red Rocks throwdown. Slated to go down from July 20th through 22nd, this year, The String Cheese Incident will open their three-night Red Rocks run with a little help from JJ Grey & Mofro on Friday, July 20th. The next night, on Saturday, July 21st, the band will be joined by The Main Squeeze, while the group has tapped Rising Appalachia to help them close things out on Sunday, July 22nd.

A pre-sale for String Cheese Incident’s 2018 Red Rocks shows begins on Tuesday, January 16th, at 11 a.m. (MST) on the band’s website. The public on-sale for the run will start on Friday, January 19th, via AXS.com. The group also announced that they would again be partnering with CID for “Ultimate Incident VIP Packages”—you can find out more information about these deals here.
