This winter, STS9 will return to Denver, Colorado’s Fillmore Auditorium to ring in the new year. Recently, the band has detailed their support for their upcoming four-night New Year’s Eve run, which spans from December 28th to December 31st.

On Friday, December 28th, STS9 will be supported by Pnuma Live, no doubt a reference to at least some of the members of the Pnuma Trio, the Southeast-born, fan-favorite livetronica project that extensively toured the U.S. from 2005 to 2010. Originally named just Pnuma, since STS9 has announced this supporting act, fans have been heavily speculating about the composition of this supporting act, which will undoubtedly feature some combination of Pnuma Trio’s Alex Botwin, Ben Hazlegrove, or Lane Shaw.

The following night, on December 29th, producer and DJ TOKiMONSTA will serve as support for STS9. The jamtronica favorites will follow up their December 29th at the Fillmore showing with at Denver’s intimate downtown music venue, Summit Music Hall, on December 30th. For this special performance, the band will offer up a special improvisational performance dubbed ‘Wave Spell’, which draws its name from the band’s recently released improvisation-focused album as well the group’s debut Belden Town, CA music festival in August. Finally, to ring in 2019, STS9 will be joined by Mark Farina and Mushroom Jazz for their New Year’s Eve proper performance, which will find the band returning to the Fillmore Auditorium on December 31st.
