Sound Tribe Sector 9 has released pro-shot video footage highlighting the jamtronica outfit’s 10-minute performance of “Spending Time” ﹥ “Sky High” ﹥ “Spending Time”, as played during the closing night of their two-show run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in September 2019.
The three-part mashup performance of the two instrumentals launched the picturesque outdoor venue into the second half of the show that night coming out of the set break. The quintet grooved their way through the first part of “Spending Time” before moving into “Sky High” right around the video’s 4:20 minute mark. The “Sky High” portion of the performance allowed the Sound Tribe members to reel in their energy just for a few moments before gradually picking up momentum in returning to “Spending Time” with a sublime climax.
