Willie Nelson walked off stage ahead of his performance at the Charlotte, NC edition of the touring Outlaw Music Festival on Saturday. A statement from Live Nation explained that the 85-year-old country music legend was forced to cancel his set due to illness. The Charlotte show marks the latest cancellation from Nelson, who has called off a number of dates during the last year due to health issues.

Nevertheless, the Outlaw Music Festival still went on without Nelson, delivering big sets from Sturgill Simpson, Old Crow Medicine Show, and more. The touring is slated to return on June 22nd at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinatti, OH, though there’s no word on whether or not Nelson intends to perform as scheduled.
