Organizers for Summer Camp Music Festival have announced the postponement of the 2020 event, which was scheduled to return to Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL on May 22nd–24th. The event is now set to take place on the weekend of August 21st–23rd.

“We are even happier to announce that all of our top tier headliners have agreed to perform the new August dates,” organizers explain in a lengthy statement shared by the festival on Thursday. “The vast majority of the rest of our lineup has agreed to play that weekend as well. Due to the unavoidable schedule conflicts a small number of our artists may change, but we will be making announcements regarding that in upcoming weeks as we continue to work through this.”

The announcement goes on to state that all tickets initially purchased for the May 22nd–24th dates will be honored in August, including camping passes and volunteer deposits.

This year’s Summer Camp is scheduled to feature performances throughout the weekend from moe., Umphrey’s McGee, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Billy Strings, Rezz, STS9, Tipper, Dirty Heads, Snails, The Wood Brothers, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Houndmouth, The Floozies, Lettuce, and more.

Thursday’s announcement comes on the heels of Mountain Jam‘s outright cancelation fo their 2020 event on Wednesday, as many large-scale event promoters are currently scrambling in an attempt to save their festivals as the live music industry continues its indefinite hiatus.
