Summer Meltdown has become a staple West Coast festival. This year, Summer Meltdown will take place from August 2nd through 5th, returning to its home in Darrington, Washington, at Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheater. The festival has always offered a diverse lineup of jam, rock, bluegrass, and electronic music, with the two full shows of the String Cheese Incident—in a recent interview with Live For Live Music, SCI’s Kyle Hollingsworth told us the festival is one of his favorite West Coast locations—serving as last year’s main headliner.
In 2018, Summer Meltdown has slightly shifted its focus, tapping two electronic juggernauts, Bassnectar and Big Gigantic, as its top leading headliners. However, that’s not to say that the festival has lost its beloved eclectic bill, as the top of the bill also sports sets by Greensky Bluegrass, Lettuce, and Beats Antique. Summer Meltdown will also host performances by Trevor Hall, Twiddle, Papadosio, Pimps of Joytime, Sunsquabi, The Lil Smokies, and more.
