Yet another new music festival will make its debut this year, this time in Somerset, Wisconsin. The first annual Summer Set Music and Camping Festival will bring some of the biggest names in electronic music, hip hop, and rock music together on August 24-26th. The festival will feature headliners Pretty Lights, Umphrey’s McGee, and Big Gigantic, along with special hip hop performances from legends Nas and Black Star, the Mos Def and Talib Kweli collaboration. Other relevant names on the bill include dubstep super stars Excision and Zeds Dead, livetronica band Lotus, and a rare US date from Infected Mushroom.
Summer Set promises three stages of music including a giant dance party atop a hockey rink and a lazy river surrounding the venue. There were also be on site after parties each night starting after midnight. VIP attendees will have extra amenities, as well as the option to purchase VIP camping passes that include hook ups for water and electricity.
