Fans of the Tedeschi Trucks Band never really need another reason to love Susan Tedeschi, but just in case: After finishing out several weeks of early-2022 tour dates with a four-show run at the storied Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, Tedeschi recently underwent surgery for a torn meniscus.

As a post on the Tedeschi Trucks Band social media accounts aptly summarized, “We want all the fans to know Susan had surgery on Tuesday for a torn meniscus and her recovery is going well. We also want fans to know that Susan Tedeschi is a total badass who just played four weeks of tour dates with a torn meniscus.”
