Tame Impala has shared a music video for the band’s latest single, “Lost In Yesterday”, from the forthcoming studio album, The Slow Rush.

“Lost In Yesterday” joins “Posthumous Forgiveness“, “It Might Be Time“, and “Borderline” as singles from The Slow Rush, which is due out February 14th via Interscope Records.

Directed by Terri Timely, a duo comprised of Ian Kibbey and Corey Creasey, the video for “Lost In Yesterday” plays on the theme that even the most disdainful times can take on a rosy tinge the further they recede in the rearview.

Lyrics like “Now even though that was a time I hated from day one/Eventually terrible memories turn into great ones/So if they call you/Embrace them/If they hold you/Erase them” illustrate this theme clearly. It’s as if to say, embrace your past experiences—even the bad ones—as they have made you what you are, but do not let them hold you back.
