Industry sources also confirmed that Governors Ball, slated for June 5th-7th at Randall’s Island Park in New York, will feature performances from Miley Cyrus, SolangeH.E.R., and Flume. While there has been no official announcement from Governors Ball in regards to the lineup, rumors continue to leak out of the festival. In addition to the leaked headliners, reports surfaced in December in THE CITY that the company in charge of the Ball, Founders Entertainment, was also seriously pursuing the Bronx’s Van Cortlandt Park as the new site for the annual gathering. The lineup is set to be revealed shortly and should put these reports to rest.

If the reports prove accurate, 2020 will mark a joyful reunion for two New York pop staples as Vampire Weekend returns for a homecoming at the Ball. Tame Impala played the festival in 2015 but would be triumphantly returning to Governors Ball as headliners in 2020 after playing much further down the lineup five years ago. As for Cyrus, Nicks, and Solange, they would all be making their debuts at Randall’s Island.

Pre-sale tickets for Governors Ball are currently sold out, but additional 3-day tickets, along with a lineup announcement, are coming soon. Stay updated by heading to their website.
