Tash Sultana returned to the stage for an outdoor concert in front of her fellow countrymen and women at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Australia on Saturday night.

The one-off concert at the outdoor stadium saw Sultana perform 11 songs for the 1,000 fans in attendance, including the live debuts of new originals “Pretty Lady” and “Beyond the Pine”. The show was significant in the fact that a major concert event took place while COVID-19 and government restrictions continue to place a chokehold on the live events industry in other parts of the world, in addition to the fact that it was Sultana’s last-ever show as a solo performer who utilizes looping pedals versus a full band, according to a recent announcement.

“I waited all year patiently for this one night. I rehearsed every single day for months,” Sultana said in a statement posted to her social media pages following the show. “This room was more than I could have ever dreamed last night, I can’t believe I played a real show with real people this year. Thank you everyone for your energy and genuine love and support. I felt every single one of you and I hope you felt my spirit too.”
