TAUK has returned with its latest single, “Make Your Move”, set to appear on the band’s forthcoming studio LP, Chaos Companion. The instrumental quartet’s next studio effort is out on September 24th.

As promised, Chaos Companion finds the ensemble exploring a range of new sounds. On “Make Your Move”, the Long Island-based band travels East for inspiration as the opening hand drums transport listeners outside TAUK’s typical musical confines. The band is able to weave these international influences into its established sound as the resulting track carries the familiar dancey energy usually associated with the progressive rock-meets livetronica act.

“An insider band secret is that we’re each super competitive, whether it’s basketball, Mario Kart, ping pong, none of us like to lose and hopefully you’ll see a new side of us,” the band said in a statement. “This video takes you on a magical journey where 1980’s Miami Vice meets a perfectly assembled action-packed bro-cation. We were lucky enough to film this at one of our favorite NYC venues, which only helped us to take it to the next level.”
