Jam outfit TAUK has added more concert dates to their previously announced 2019 winter tour, which is scheduled to begin later this month with a show at Portland House of Music in Maine on January 31st. The addition of 21 new headlining shows to their upcoming tour schedule includes shared billings with support acts including Frogleg, Arkansauce, and more.
The new dates will see the band picking up where they left off during the winter run beginning on April 10th in Morgantown, West Virginia, and continuing for just over a month before wrapping up on May 11th in Pittsburgh. Stops on the spring run include a mix of shows across the midwest and south, with performances at Elevation at The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI (4/11); The Majestic Theatre in Madison, WI (4/16); recordBar in Kansas City, MO (4/18); Mohawk in Austin, TX (4/20); 1883 Lounge in Memphis, TN (4/24); Exit/In in Nashville, TN (4/27); Woodlands Tavern in Columbus, OH (5/9); and the Red Theater in Pittsburgh, PA on May 11th, just to name a few.
The band is also scheduled to perform on JamCruise 17 later this month, followed by appearances supporting The Disco Biscuits in Arkansas and Louisiana in late April, and Lettuce‘s Rage Rocks event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 16th. Their 2019 tour is currently scheduled to come to an end with an appearance at Electric Forest in Michigan in June.
Speaking of Lettuce, members of the funky jam band recently recruited TAUK drummer Isaac Teel to join them at their first ever Funk Sessions performance at Denver’s Cervantes’ Other Side later this month on January 29th.
The band also offered their fans a free download of their new live compilation, Real TAUK, Vol 1, which can be accessed through Nugs.net. The compilation includes recorded performances from the bands 2018 shows in Boulder, Seattle, Burlington, and more.
