Tedeschi Trucks Band has a new, still-untitled studio album in the works, slated for release in early 2019. Their fourth studio effort will follow up 2016’s Let Me Get By, 2013’s Made Up Mind, and their 2011 debut album Revelator.
TTB has a busy winter ahead of them, as the band will embark on an extensive U.S. and European tour spanning from January 17th through the end of April. Tedeschi Trucks Band will open their winter tour at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids, IA with Charlie Parr, followed by a two-night run at Chicago’s Chicago Theatre on January 18th and 19th. The twelve piece ensemble will then make stops at Knoxville, TN’s Tennessee Theatre (1/22) and Chattanooga, TN’s Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium (1/23), before returning to Chicago’s Chicago Theatre for another two-night run on January 25th and 26th.
The band will then head to New Orleans, LA’s Saenger Theatre for a pair of shows, Monday and Tuesday, January 28th and 29th. From there, TTB will play three nights at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on January 31st, February 1st, and 2nd. After about a week off, they’ll regroup in Washington, D.C. for another four-night, two-weekend residency at the Warner Theatre on Friday and Saturday, February 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd. In between the D.C. shows, they’ll make one appearance at Hershey, PA’s Hershey Theatre on February 16th.
Tedeschi Trucks Band will then make a stop at Philadelphia’s The Met on February 26th, before heading to the William B. Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA on February 28th. TTB will wrap up their U.S. winter tour with a show at Birmingham, AL’s Alabama Theatre on March 1st, followed by a final show at Asheville, NC’s Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on March 2nd.
