On Friday, Tedeschi Trucks Band‘s ongoing Wheels of Soul tour with Blackberry Smoke and Shovels and Rope made a special stop at the first day of Levitate Music & Arts Festival in Marshfield, MA, where all three bands hit the stage to serenade the festival crowd.

Tedeschi Trucks Band’s marathon two-hour headlining set saw them tear into a slew of setlist staples including newer Signs tracks like “Signs, High Times”, “Hard Case”, and “Shame”, longtime favorites like “Don’t Know What It Means”, “Do I Look Worried”, “Anyhow”, “Midnight In Harlem”, and “I Want More”, and go-to covers like “The Letter” (The Box Tops), “Down In The Flood” (Bob Dylan), “Angel From Montgomery”/”Sugaree” (John Prine/Grateful Dead), “Don’t Keep Me Wonderin'” (Allman Brothers Band), and “I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free” (Billy Taylor, popularized by Nina Simone).

Of course, while this show took place at a festival, it was still part of the Wheels of Soul tour, which meant collaborations were on the table. Much like they did in Raleigh this past week, Tedeschi Trucks Band welcomed Blackberry Smoke’s Charlie Starr to the stage for their first encore song to sing lead on Charles Segar‘s “Key To The Highway”. From there, Susan Tedeschi welcomed “the rest of the band, and whoever else wants to get up” for their final song, Joe Cocker‘s “Space Captain”.

Below, you can check out (almost) all of the Tedeschi Trucks Band Levitate set (beginning at the 03:36:30 mark with “Don’t Know What It Means”) or stream a complete audio recording of the performance. You can also check out portions of Friday’s performances by Blackberry Smoke, Andy Frasco & The U.N.Ripe, and more earlier in the video.
