Whose Hat Is This? is an acid jazz collective featuring Tedeschi Trucks Band members bassist Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie), saxophonist Kebbi Williams (Outkast), and drummers JJ Johnson (John Mayer) and Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell (Col. Bruce Hampton). Today, it was announced that Whose Hat Is This? will be hitting the road this December for a six-show run across the East Coast in early December.
Starting on December 4th, Whose Hat Is This? will open their mini-tour in New York City at Rockwood Music Hall. The following night, the group will hit Philadelphia followed by a night in Baltimore on the 6th. The band will then continue south, hitting Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina, on December 7th and 8th, respectively. To round out the string of dates, Whose Hat Is This? will finish things off with a tour-closing performance just outside of Atlanta at Roswell, Georgia’s Gate City Brewery.
Similar to recent Tedeschi Trucks Band tours, this upcoming Whose Hat Is This? tour was booked in collaboration with Craft For Causes—a non-profit that brings together the live music and craft brewery communities for charity. This winter tour also comes on the heels of Whose Hat Is This?’s sold-out two-night October run in New York City at 55 Bar, as well as the release of their debut self-titled album released back in April.
