As Tedeschi Trucks Band moves into the back half of the six-episode Fireside Sessions this Thursday, March 11th, the Derek Trucks– and Susan Tedeschi-led outfit has shared a pair of pro-shot videos from the first half of the weekly series.

Each of the first three editions of the Tedeschi Trucks Band’s  Fireside Sessions – filmed at Trucks and Tedeschi’s home – has showcased a different variation on the TTB lineup. For the first session, which aired on Thursday, February 18th, viewers tuning in caught Derek and Susan with bassist Brandon Boone and drummer Tyler Greenwell in a rare quartet formation. The following week, Thursday, February 25th, keyboardist/organist Gabe Dixon was added to the mix. Watch the TTB quintet’s performance of “Whiskey Legs” from Fireside Sessions Episode 2 (2/25) below.

For the third installment of the series, aired on Thursday, March 4th, rather than adding more of the group’s usual players, Derek and Susan sat down for an intimate duo set. From their home studio, the pair played a variety of acoustic and electric guitars, offered detailed song introductions—including a moving remembrance of late bandmate Kofi Burbridge during “Strengthen What Remains”—and provided viewers, once again with the unique atmosphere of a “living room” performance. The two also revived their rendition of The Rolling Stones‘ “You Got the Silver”, last played in 2014, as well as another new entry, “Smiling On Me”, co-written with Oliver Wood (The Wood Brothers). Watch the duo perform “When Will I Begin” below.

For the final three episodes, fans can expect more surprises including more song debuts and visits from additional band members. Each episode was captured in 4K by 7Cinematics, an award-winning crew of concert filmmakers, with audio recorded, mixed and mastered by TTB’s engineer Bobby Tis. Audio from each session is available, as well, in an mp3 bundle or separately for purchase in all additional formats. After each initial 8pm broadcast, episodes are also available for on-demand viewing for a 48-hour period. Ticket and bundle information can be found here.
