Tedeschi Trucks Band has announced the addition of three shows to their upcoming 2019 winter tour. During their upcoming winter tour, the twelve piece ensemble will make stops at Knoxville, TN’s Tennessee Theatre (1/22), Chattanooga, TN’s Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium (1/23), and Birmingham, AL’s Alabama Theatre (2/28). A fan pre-sale for all three shows starts on Tuesday, October 30 at 10 a.m. local time, with public on-sales opening on Friday, November 2 at 10 a.m. local time. As TTB previously announced, Tedeschi Trucks Band will open their winter tour at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids, IA with Charlie Parr. Then, they will occupy Chicago’s Chicago Theatre, Friday and Saturday, January 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th with previously mentioned stops in Knoxville and Chattanooga between weekends.
The band will then head to New Orleans, LA’s Saenger Theatre for a pair of shows, Monday and Tuesday, January 28th and 29th. From there, TTB will play three nights at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on January 31st, February 1st, and 2nd. After about a week off, they’ll regroup in Washington, D.C. for another four-night, two-weekend residency at the Warner Theatre on Friday and Saturday, February 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd. In between the D.C. shows, they’ll make one appearance at Hershey, PA’s Hershey Theatre on February 16th. As previously mentioned from today’s announcement, from D.C., they’ll head to the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, AL on February 28th. Tedeschi Trucks Band’s final winter show will take place at Augusta, GA’s Bell Auditorium, Friday, March 1st.
The newly announced shows precede TTB’s recently announced trip across the pond in April. The 14-date run will begin in Paris, France on Tuesday, April 2nd. From there, the band will head to the Eindhoven, Netherlands and Winterbach, Germany on Thursday and Friday, April 4th and 5th, respectively, before making their way to Stockholm, Sweden for a show on Monday, April 8th. Next, the blues-rock powerhouse will hit Oslo, Norway on Wednesday, April 10th ahead of two Danish performances in Copenhagen on Thursday, April 11th and in Randers on Friday, April 12th.
On Sunday, April 14th and Monday, April 15th, Tedeschi Trucks Band will head back to Germany for performances in Bochum and Hamburg before making their way to Italy for shows on Wednesday, April 17th in Milan and Thursday, April 18th in Trieste. The band will round out their run with a show in Zurich, Switzerland on Saturday, April 20th; a stop in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday, April 23rd; and a tour-closing performance at London, England’s London Palladium on Saturday, April 27th.
