[5/4/21]: Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi have extended their socially distant Fireside LIVE 2021 summer tour with the announcement of eight new shows.

New additions to the tour, which will feature a revolving lineup of four to seven of the typical Tedeschi Trucks Band members depending on travel/safety limitations for each stop, include performances at Winston-Salem, NC’s The Drive at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds (6/22); New Haven, CT’s Westville Music Bowl (7/6, 7/7); Ridgefield, CT’s Ridgefield Playhouse Outdoor Stage (7/13, 7/14); Gilford, NH’s Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion (7/17, 7/18); Shelburne, VT’s The Green at Shelburne Museum (7/23), and Martha’s Vineyard, MA’s Beach Road Weekend (7/24).

Pre-sales for the new dates will be available to Swamp Family Fan Club members on Wednesday, May 5th at 10:00 a.m. ET. An artist pre-sale will follow at noon ET using the code “z21ARTIST”. Public on-sale will take place on Friday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. For more information and ticketing details, head to the TTB website here.

[4/27/21]: Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi have added two more dates to the duo’s Fireside LIVE summer 2021 tour. The partners in life and music will now perform at Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, MS on June 15th as well as The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach, AL on June 16th. A pre-sale for the two new concerts begins on Wednesday at 10 a.m. CT with a general public on-sale beginning on Friday at the same time.

The Fireside LIVE tour will see Derek and Susan touring under the monicker Tedeschi Trucks, rather than Tedeschi Trucks Band. Similar to the duo’s Fireside Sessions livestream series, each concert will see various members of TTB sub in and out depending on location, availability, and, above all, safety.

[4/20/21]: Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi (Tedeschi Trucks Band) have announced Fireside LIVE, a special series of socially distant, limited-capacity live shows this summer. Much like Tedeschi Trucks Band’s acclaimed Fireside Sessions virtual performance series, each of the Fireside LIVE shows will feature a different lineup of members of the full Tedeschi Trucks Band, ranging from four to seven musicians depending on the performance.

Rather than billing the performances as “Tedeschi Trucks Band,” Derek and Susan will perform the Fireside LIVE shows simply as “Tedeschi Trucks,” an inclusive nod to the members of the band’s typical 12-piece lineup who won’t be appearing at the newly announced gigs. As the Fireside LIVE announcement notes, “The decision as to which members will join for each show will be decided week to week, depending on local conditions at the time.”

“We’re really looking forward to getting on the road and seeing everybody’s beautiful faces,” Susan Tedeschi explains in a press release. “Getting together earlier this year to record the Fireside Sessions was really re-energizing, and we are excited to play live in front of fans again. As much as we love performing as the full Tedeschi Trucks Band, current conditions just don’t allow for us to do that.”

The Tedeschi Trucks Fireside LIVE shows will mark the band’s first fully live public performances since February 2020. The announcement of the pandemic-conscious shows follows the recent postponement of TTB’s annual multi-band Wheels of Soul tour to 2022.

Despite the postponement, the Fireside LIVE announcement confirms that Tedeschi Trucks will still perform this summer at a few of the previously scheduled Wheels of Soul tour stops including Jacksonville, FL’s Daily’s Place (6/11, 6/12), Gilford, NH’s Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion (7/3), and Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (7/30, 7/31), with the Red Rocks run falling on the same weekend on which the 2021 Wheels of Soul stop was initially scheduled.

Tedeschi Trucks will also make summer 2021 tour stops at a number of the more popular socially distant venues on the East Coast that have become increasingly popular destinations for touring bands this year including Cayce, SC’s Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center (6/26), Frederick, MD’s Showtime at the Drive-In (7/1, 7/2, 7/3), and Lafayette, NY’s Apple Valley Park (7/9, 7/10, 7/11).

Tickets for all Tedeschi Trucks Fireside LIVE 2021 shows (except Red Rocks) will go on sale to the general public Friday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. ET. Red Rocks ticketing info has yet to be announced. For ticketing information, head here.
