Tedeschi Trucks Band is bringing their winter tour to the newly renovated and reopened venue, The Met Philly, in Philadelphia, PA for one night only on February 26th, 2019. Pre-sale begins on Thursday, November 15th at 10 am, with a general on-sale on Friday, November 16th at 10 am here.

Opening up in early December, the 3,500-capacity Met Philly is is a brand new venue converted from the historic Metropolitan Opera House on Philly’s North Broad Street. The Metropolitan Opera House was built in 1908 by the well-known theater impresario Oscar Hammerstein I—the grandfather of the famed musical librettist Oscar Hammerstein II of the critically acclaimed composing duo, Rodgers and Hammerstein. While the venue was used as an opera house until 1934, the renovation marks the latest evolution of the historic building, which has also been used as a movie theater, a ballroom, a sports venue, and a church in the past.

Tedeschi Trucks Band has slowly been rolling out winter tour dates, with multi-night runs scheduled in Chicago, New Orleans, Nashville, Washington, D.C., and more. For a full list of the husband-and-wife-led band’s upcoming tour dates and ticketing information, head to the band’s website.
