A teenage music fan in London submitted her entry for the music cosplay hall of fame earlier this month by dressing up as GWAR singer Oderus Urungus and going to school.

According to reports, amateur mask maker and student Lani Hernandez-David went to pick up her A-Level school report card while dressed in a very impressive homemade costume inspired by the one which Oderus Urungus wears on stage when performing (and spraying fake feces over the audience).

“Hello human filth! I finally finished my Oderus youngerus (teen Oderus) costume! Took 1 month and a half. Overall I’m happy, I wanna redo the shoulders n spikes but jus don’t have time or space,” Hernandez-David said in a post to her Instagram prior to picking up her report card. “I got a B in design technology and a D in art… oh well. All I’d like to say is that you don’t need the highest grades and you don’t need to go to Hollywood to be able to create cool shit.”

So today I dressed in my home made Oderus Urungus to pick up my A-level school results. I got a B in design technology and a D in art… oh well. All I’d like to say is that you don’t need the highest grades and you don’t need to go to Hollywood to be able to create cool shit. Anyways, this has been a fun project. Let’s try see if we can get an article made about this! Thanks for all the lovely support. Not for sale, will not make any for sale. Members of GWAR were featured on CNN back in the spring, where the grotesque metal band discussed the need for folks to stay inside and away from each other so they can have the chance to murder their fans in person when concerts resume.
