Telluride Blues & Brews Festival returned to the picturesque valleys of Telluride, CO for its 26th year this past weekend. The end-of-summer event provided attendees with three total days and nights filled with fantastic performances from artists including John Fogerty, Boz Scaggs, Anders Osborne, Ryan Bingham, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Allman Betts Band, Otis Taylor’s Psychedelic Banjo Posse, Southern Avenue, Low Cut Connie, Ida Mae, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and more.

Fans were able to go between the event’s various performance spaces including Telluride Town Park Main Stage, Blues Stage, Campground Stage, and the late-night Juke Joint to catch a mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam-band, gospel and soul performances. In addition to the musical sets throughout the weekend, attendees were also surrounded by some of the best craft breweries from around the country to help lubricate those dancing muscles as the event carried on.
As previously mentioned, Phil Lesh was not able to attend the event as initially scheduled so he could undergo a minor back surgery procedure. Veteran funk heroes George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic were added to the lineup as the late replacement for Lesh, and had no trouble bringing the funk to the people in his place.
