Tenacious D has added a ten-show run of September tour dates to its 2022 tour schedule.
The comedy-rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass will follow an early-summer run of shows in the western United States with a number of performances on the eastern half of the map in September featuring special guest DJ Douggpound.
Beginning on September 9th at Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Wilmington, NC, the D will travel to Alton, VA’s Blue Ridge Rock Festival (9/10) and Philadelphia, PA’s The Mann Center (9/11).
The tour will continue with shows in Gilford, NH (9/13); Bridgeport, CT (9/14); Cuyahoga Falls, OH (9/16); Milwaukee, WI (9/18); Minneapolis, MN (9/19); and Cedar Rapids, IA (9/20). The tour will then wrap up with a set at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, KY on September 22nd.
Artist pre-sale tickets for the new Tenacious D 2022 tour dates are available now using the password “CLASSICS.” Public on-sale will begin this Friday, March 11th at 10 a.m. local time.

Highlights of the previously announced June 2022 Tenacious D tour include a headlining set at Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival on June 16th as well as shows at Bend, OR’s Hayden Homes Amphitheater (6/22); Palo Alto, CA’s Frost Amphitheater (6/24); and San Diego, CA’s Cal Coast Credit Union Amphitheater (6/26).
