Terrapin Crossroads will host a charity garage sale this weekend at Beach Park in San Rafael, CA. The liquidation sale for the now-closed former Phil Lesh-owned venue/restaurant will take place Saturday and Sunday at the adjoining harborside venue.

The sale will include furniture, cookware, merchandise, and more items from the iconic venue opened by the Grateful Dead bassist and his wife Jill in 2012. Additionally, the event will feature live music from an unspecified artist, as well as full bar service with a food truck on site. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Canal Alliance and Ritter Center. The Canal Alliance provides assistance to low-resource Latino immigrants and families while Ritter Center has been building “an evidence-based and outcomes-focused coordinated system of care across health and social sectors” in Marin County for nearly half a century.

Terrapin Crossroads announced its closure earlier this month after nearly a decade in business. The venture hosted its last concert on October 31st by Stu Allen & Mars Hotel at Beach Park.
