The Darkness has announced a lengthy 2022 spring tour that will see the band perform across the United States and Canada. March and April will see the British rockers perform 34 times in support of their 2021 album, Motorheart, joined on all dates by The Dead Deads.
Members Justin Hawkins, Dan Hawkins, Frankie Poullain, and Rufus Taylor will first bring the tour to the West Coast, starting off at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA on March 9th. From there, the hard rock/glam metal quartet will head to House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV on the 10th, before a show in Tempe, AZ (3/12) brings the band back to California for four more shows (3/13, 3/15–3/17). The Darkness will then make its way through Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba before ending March with a run through the Midwest.
Moving into April, Hawkins and company will hit Sauget, IL (4/1) and Kansas City, MO (4/2) preceding shows at Dallas, TX’s Grenada Theater (4/3); Austin, TX’s Mohawk (4/5); and Houston, TX’s Warehouse Live (4/6). A stop at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville in Tennessee (4/6) will kick off a stretch of East Coast performances, including Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, Ontario, New Jersey, and a tour-closing show at Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia, PA (4/23).

“You there, in the Americas — hear me, and hear me well: The Darkness know your pain, know that you have cried yourselves to sleep every night, bereft of quality English rock music,” said Justin Hawkins in a statement. “Well, desist from weeping and pull up your fully grown adult pants — salvation is upon you! As doctors, we UNDERSTAND the healing power of rock music and we have instructed our minions to make arrangements for us to visit your moderately distant shores.”
Tickets for all shows on The Darkness’ 2022 North American tour go on sale Monday, December 13th, at 10 a.m. local time. Head to the band’s website for tickets and more information and scroll down for a detailed list of tour dates.
