The Disco Biscuits will spread the love around this New Year’s with a three-show, two-city run to close out 2023. The run will bring the trancefusion pioneers to New York City for a late-night show followed by a two-night end-of-year blowout in their hometown of Philadelphia.

The run begins on December 28th at the Palladium Times Square with a late-night show. Over the years, The Disco Biscuits have become quite familiar with the subterranean music hall at 1515 Broadway, playing there through myriad name changes, most recently staging a four-night NYE run in 2019 at what was then known as the PlayStation Theater. In fact, The Disco Biscuits held the final concert at the PlayStation before it officially closed on January 1st, 2020.

Following the one-off in NYC, The Disco Biscuits will return home to Philadelphia for two nights at Franklin Music Hall on December 30th and 31st. Rising Boston jam act Neighbor will open the show on the 30th, with The Biscuits presenting a special “An Evening With” program to close out 2023. The Disco Biscuits have a storied history with the Franklin Music Hall as well, most notably during the two decades it was known as the Electric Factory. The band has staged nearly 80 performances between the two venues through many years and name changes.

Keyboardist Aron Magner said of the upcoming run,

Philly has always been home, especially over New Years. And when you combine a pairing of Philly shows with a late-night NYC show, we have ourselves an old skool throw down: New Years Run 2023!

We have a lot of history in the Palladium in NYC – from Nokia to Best Buy to PlayStation and now Palladium, our roots run thick there. Interestingly, that very room in Times Square plays a pivotal role in the story within our upcoming album. But we’ll tell you more about that later …
