The Disco Biscuits have announced a very special run of shows in Reykjavik, Iceland on May 20th–22nd, 2023. Dubbed Tranceatlantic, the three-day event will take place at Eldborg Hall, within Reykjavik’s iconic Harpa Concert Hall.
In an announcement posted on social media, the band addressed their fans and acknowledged the experiences they have shared before introducing their new destination event. “Over the years, the community around The Disco Biscuits has grown ever larger,” the band wrote. “However, through our shared travels and magical experiences, we’ve also somehow grown closer. We’ve gone on a lot of adventures together around the country and all over the world. And the next one is sure to make us memories that we’ll share forever.”
The announcement went on to say that Tranceatlantic will feature additional artists and late-night events elsewhere in Reykjavik. Further details including tickets, IcelandAir travel discounts, and hotel deals will be available on July 11th. For more information, visit the event website.
Umphrey’s McGee, who will link up with The Disco Biscuits for another run of co-headlining shows in August, held their own destination event in Iceland in March. Click here to check out Live For Live Music‘s coverage of the event.
