Exciting time for The Disco Biscuits fans, as the band has announced the re-release of their debut album Encephalous Crime. The 1996 release sees the Biscuits experimenting in the realms of jamtronica, honing their songwriting craft in the process. With jams like “Mr. Don,” “Stone,” “Devils Waltz” and “Rainbow Song,” the band’s debut album would set them up for a great career trajectory to follow.

The album has been out of print for some time; that is, until now. The Biscuits have re-mastered the audio from this debut album, specifically for a vinyl release! You can not only pre-order the debut album on vinyl, but they’ll also receive digital download copy of Encephalous as well! The vinyl will be released soon, so get your copy while its fresh off the presses.

Keyboardist Aron Magner shared the news, saying, “I have fond memories of making this album and our first experience in a real studio when we were just kids in college. So, here it is … and on remastered specially for vinyl!” You can check more information about the release in the image below, or head here.
