The Disco Biscuits have announced a run of winter tour dates that will carry the jamtronic quartet into spring 2023.
The Disco Biscuits have avoided extensive touring in recent years, usually opting instead for one-offs, shorter runs, multi-night residencies, and special events like the upcoming Tranceatlantic destination concerts in Iceland and New Year’s Eve run in Chicago. The band mounted a grand return to touring in 2019–2020, though the outing stalled after bassist Marc Brownstein suffered an eye emergency that forced the cancellation of several January 2020 shows. By the time Brownie was healthy enough to tour again, the COVID pandemic had taken hold of the concert industry. The Disco Biscuits were hellbent on touring, however, staging socially distanced concerts at drive-in movie theaters and even a fanless concert at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park.
Following a previously announced two-night run at The Eastern in Atlanta, GA on November 18th and 19th and the band’s New Year’s Eve run in Chicago, The Disco Biscuits’ winter tour will pick up on January 18th at House of Blues Cleveland. The band will then play one night at Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY (1/19); two nights at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA (1/20–21); and two nights at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT (2/1–2).
From there, they will head to Palace Theatre in Albany, NY (2/3), followed by The Anthem in Washington, D.C. (2/4). Following previously announced three-night runs at The Caverns in Pelham, TN (3/10–12) and The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (3/23–25), the tour will conclude with two-night runs at Belly Up Aspen in Aspen, CO (3/29–30) and Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO (3/31–4/1), after which the band will travel to Iceland for the highly anticipated Tranceatlantic engagement.
Tickets for The Disco Biscuits’ newly announced 2023 tour dates will go on sale this Friday, November 18th at noon ET. For tickets and more information, visit the band’s website.
