The Disco Biscuits are planning a trip to the East Coast this summer with the announcement of eight tour dates. The run of June concerts marks the first installment of the trancefusion pioneers’ summer tour.

Kicking off in Isle of Palms, SC on June 7th, the band will then head to Raleigh, NC on the 8th before returning to the familiar stage at The National in Richmond, VA (6/9). The Disco Biscuits will come home to their native Pennsylvania for a show in Harrisburg (6/10) ahead of a run through the Northeast for concerts in Wilmington, DE (6/14) and Red Bank, NJ (6/15) ahead of a two-night stay in Wantagh on New York’s Long Island (6/16–6/17).

A Seated fan club lottery is currently underway for The Disco Biscuits’ upcoming summer tour dates and is open until Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. See below for a detailed list of tour dates.

The Disco Biscuits will hit the road this summer with plenty of new material, with the band debuting 14 new tracks live between June and December 2022. Many of the songs also saw official studio releases and will appear on the band’s first new album in 12 years. Last month, along with the release of “Shocked!”, the band offered some details on guitarist Jon “Barber” Gutwillig‘s new rock opera of interstellar proportions.

Somewhere in deep space many galaxies away, an electronically-evolved alien spaceship captain is flying fast and living dangerously…approaching the inevitably messy end to an intergalactic bender.

Buckling under the weight of royal expectations, our captain and his crew have been taking fuzzies and getting shocked off the ship’s electronic power source, the polyfuzaline crystal, frying their circuits and blasting them into a psychedelic stupor.

Teetering on the edge of derangement, but forever loyal to each other, we join this gang of extra-terrestrial malcontents just as their circumstances are about to change forever
