There’s no denying the explosion and popularity of electronic music over the past decade or so, and now, those artists will finally have their chance of being recognized, as FOX is set to televise the first ever electronic music awards show. The first awards show of its kind in America, dubbed the Electronic Music Awards & Foundation, or EMAF, will take place in Los Angeles on April 14 and will air on FOX on April 23 from 8-9 PM.

Veteran record producer and electronic pioneer Paul Oakenfold will produce the affair, highlighting electronic music’s most popular acts as well as some of the pillars of the genre. Live performances are scheduled, too, though they have yet to be announced.
