Seattle-based indie-folk sextet The Head And The Heart has announced an expansive Every Shade of Blue 2022 North American tour set to kick off this May. Shakey Graves, Dawes, and Jade Bird will join the band on select dates throughout the duration of the tour.

Every Shade of Blue will commence on May 20th at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL before a spot at Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, AL on the 22nd. From there, The Head And The Heart will make its way through Missouri, Milwaukee, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Vermont, and Maine before closing out the first leg with stops at New York, NY’s Pier 17 – The Rooftop (6/6); Vienna, VA’s Wolf Trap (6/9); and Boston, MA’s Leader Bank Pavilion (6/10).

A short break in the action will send the tour south to Texas for three shows in August, first to Austin’s ACL Live at The Moody Theater (8/2), followed by Houston’s Lawn at White Oak (8/4), and finally, The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Dallas (8/5). The August run of performances will continue through Oklahoma (8/6), Utah (8/8), Idaho (8/9), Montana (8/11), Washington (8/12), and Oregon (8/16) ahead of a three-night stint in California to close out the month. California stops will include Berkeley’s Greek Theatre (8/19), Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre (8/20), and San Diego’s Humphreys Concerts By The Bay (8/22).

The Head And The Heart will then jumpstart the final leg with a run through Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom (9/14), and a sold-out performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (9/15). Heading east, the tour will move through Virginia, North Carolina, and Ohio before sending it north to Toronto for the lone Canadian date on the calendar (9/27). After stints in Michigan, Indiana, and Ilinois, the group will host a two-night run at The Sylvee in Madison, WI (10/3, 10/4), before wrapping things up in Minnesota, Missouri, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and a tour-ending stop at Nashville, TN’s Ascend Amphitheatre.

We can’t wait to get out there, doing what we do with an even greater sense of gratitude.”
