The Human Experience has announced a 10-date West Coast tour with his live band project, Gone Gone Beyond.
Fronted by multi-instrumentalist David Block, The Human Experience will embark on Things Are Changing Tour, named after the group’s recent 2019 album release, making stops at cities in California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. Each night of the tour will feature both a live-band performance from David Block’s Gone Gone Beyond and a headlining DJ set from The Human Experience.
Comprised of Block and multi-instrumentalists and classically trained artists Danny Musengo, Kat Factor, and Mel Seme, Gone Gone Beyond brings a unique and diverse perspective of sound from around the world, bringing an incredibly dynamic live experience of future folk.
Constantly striving to push the boundaries of live electronic music, The Human Experience is David Block’s principal project as a live electronic composer and producer. Block’s performances are brimming and layered with human emotion, world exploration, prismatic soundscapes, and sultry beats of live composition.
Things Are Changing Tour will kick off with support from Moontricks for the first seven shows, starting at Miner’s Foundry Cultural Center in Nevada City, CA on October 2nd and Petaluma, CA’s Mystic Theatre on October 3rd. Moontricks will also offer support at San Francisco, CA’s Public Works (10/4); Arcata, CA’s Arcata Theater Lounge (10/9); Ashland, OR’s Ashland Armony (10/10); and Eugene, OR’s WOW Hall (10/11). Lazy Syrup Orchestra will offer support for the last three shows at Vancouver, CAN’s Imperial Vancouver (10/15); Victoria, CAN’s Capital Ballroom (10/16); and Seattle, WA’s Nectar Lounge (10/17).
