Boulder, Colorado-based jam quartet The Jauntee has announced an extensive 2019 summer tour spanning from the west to the east coast. The announcement comes on the heels of the band’s recent spring run alongside notable acts including Jazz Is Phsh, Andy Frasco & The UN, along with a number of festival appearances. The Jauntee’s upcoming summer tour will feature some highly-anticipated “JauntGrass” sets, which mix acoustic and bluegrass elements into the band’s unparalleled improvisation.
The Jauntee will open up their tour with a performance at Denver, CO’s Mile High Spirits on May 25th during the day before heading to Colorado Springs, CO’s MeadowGrass Music Festival later in the evening on the same date. The quartet will continue with stops at Central City, CO’s Grand Z Casino (6/6); Central City, CO’s Central Jazz (6/8); Boulder, CO’s Lazy Dog (6/14); and Salida, CO’s FIBArk Whitewater Festival on June 15th and 16th.
The band will continue west with shows at Victor, ID’s Knotty Pine (6/20); Whitefish, MT’s Great Northern (6/21); Moscow, ID’s John’s Alley (6/22); Talent, OR’s Talent Club (6/26); Portland, OR’s The Goodfoot (6/27); Seattle, WA’s Nectar Lounge (6/28); Lewiston, ID’s Barge In Music Fest (6/29); Buena Vista, CO’s The Beach (7/5); Cheyenne, WY’s Compound Sound Music Festival (7/6); and Crested Butte, CO’s AlpenGlow (7/15).
Next, The Jauntee will head east with performances at Minneapolis, MN’s 7th St. Entry (7/18); Chicago, IL’s Bourbon on Division (7/19); Louisville, KY’s Early Service Concert Series (7/21); Port Chester, NY’s Garcia’s (7/25); Boston, MA’s Down The Road Beer Co.
