Bloomington, Indiana-bred funk quintet The Main Squeeze has announced an extensive coast-to-coast fall tour, along with a seven-night run throughout Spain and Portugal. Bombargo will offer support at select dates on the fall tour.
Following a monthlong break from the road, The Main Squeeze—comprised of vocalist Corey Frye, guitarist Max Newman, keyboardist Ben “Smiley” Silverstein, drummer Reuben Gingrich, and bassist Rob Walker—will open up their Euro run with an appearance at Bejar, Spain’s Blues Bejar Festival on July 19th, followed by performances at Alijo, Portugal’s Sons No Parque Fest (7/20); Madrid, Spain’s Sala Clamores (7/21); Santiago De Compostela, Spain’s Plaza De La Quintana (7/22); Palencia, Spain’s La Huerta Del Guardian (7/24); Soria, Spains’s Enclave De Agua (7/26); and Valles (Pilona), Spain’s AMC Pepe Bocanegra on July 27th.
The band will regroup on the west coast to kick off their massive fall tour with a performance at Santa Cruz, CA’s Catalyst Atrium on September 25th, followed by appearances at Los Angeles, CA’s Mint LA (10/12); Bloomington, IN’s Bluebird (10/24); and a special Halloween performance at Philadelphia, PA’s World Cafe Live, to name a few.
The Main Squeeze will continue with performances across the east coast and Midwest, including stops at Boston, MA’s Brighton Music Hall (11/2); Grand Rapids, MI’s Founders Brewing Co. (11/21); Indianapolis, IN’s Vogue Theatre (11/27); Asheville, NC’s Asheville Music Hall (12/5); Atlanta, GA’s Aisle 5 (12/6); and a tour-closing performance at Charleston, SC’s Charleston Pour House on December 7th.
