Chicago’s Taste of Randolph filled the streets of the city’s popular West Loop area yesterday to kick off day one of the three-day music and food event. Presented by Silver Wrapper, this year’s festival expanded to three stages, featuring some of our favorite funk acts and beyond including The Motet, Turkuaz, and Marco Benevento. Incorporating some of the city’s premier restaurants, talented artisans and eclectic vendors, Taste of Randolph is a unique event that serves to benefit the community.

This year, fest organizers went above and beyond on creativity and production, creating a mini yet realistic Red Rocks “Denver Stage”. Attendees were blown away watching some of their favorite Colorado bands perform in a replica of one of the most breathtaking venues in the country. Following an incredible day of music, Benevento and his troupe (Karina Rykman on bass, Andy Borger on drums) hit the nearby Tonic Room for a late night of epic proportions. Check out a full gallery of photos from Taste of Randolph and the official afterparty below, by Kristine Condon.
