When he’s not busy badmouthing just about everyone influential in music, Keith Richards apparently is in talks with his Rolling Stones bandmates about returning to the studio for their first full-length effort in ten years.

“I was at a meeting with the lads three or four days ago where everybody said, ‘Yes! We must go in the studio!'”, Richards revealed to The Quietus. “Where or when I can’t yet say but in the near future.”

The Rolling Stones’ last studio work was on 2005’s A Bigger Bang. Richards will release a solo album on September 18th. Listen to two tracks off the album here.
