New Orleans brass ensemble The Soul Rebels have shared the details of their 2022 summer tour schedule. The lengthy outing will kick off Friday, June 10th with the first show of Trombone Shorty‘s Voodoo Threauxdown Tour at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, NH.

Known for synthesizing elements of hip-hop, funk, and pop music with their NOLA jazz roots, the eight-piece brass band will perform on bills with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Talib Kweli and GZA (Wu-Tang Clan), and more in addition to headlining shows of their own.

Following the tour opener in Hampton Beach, The Soul Rebels will head to Boston, MA’s Leader Bank Pavillion with Trombone Shorty’s Voodoo Threauxdown Tour on Saturday and to New York’s SummerStage in Central Park on Monday. The band will continue traveling with the tour, which will also feature Tank and the Bangas, Big Freedia, George Porter Jr. & Dumpstaphunk (performing the music of The Meters), and Cyril Neville, until June 23rd when they headline Hi-Fi Annex in Indianapolis, IN.

The Soul Rebels will then rejoin the Voodoo Threauxdown tour in Grand Rapids, MI the following day and continue until mid August with headlining dates and festival appearances mixed in. They will also link up with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic for two shows in Texas on July 27th and 28th, and they will perform with Talib Kweli and GZA at Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley on July 30th.
