The String Cheese Incident are doing it right in 2016! The band is gearing up for their “March Madness” winter tour throughout the West Coast, and they’re building up even more hype for the shows ahead with the announcement of a major summer tour.

The new summer schedule includes some previously-announced plays, including sets at their own Electric Forest festival and the Peach Music Festival, as well as three nights at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The tour also includes a number of individual “Incidents,” including a four-night “Independence Incident” run in both Asheville, NC and Atlanta, GA.

Additional shows include the Merriweather Post Pavilion, Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY, a Northwest run with stops in Washington, Montana and Oregon, and two nights at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY, from August 13-14.

Furthermore, the band is also in the studio recording a new album, to be produced by Talking Heads man Jerry Harrison. Harrison produced their exciting 2014 album, Song In My Head, and more information about the new release is expected to be shared in the near future.
