The Strokes have released the latest single from the band’s forthcoming album The New Abnormal, entitled “Bad Decisions”, along with an accompanying music video.

The video features a vintage throwback to 1970s television and culture, complete with shag carpeting and wood-paneled walls. As the band repeats the refrain, “oh makin’ bad decisions” over and over, the video advertises The Strokes clones, available at the push of a button. The song and the video come together as the band appears to imply that the solution to “makin’ bad decisions” is as simple as rolling off an endless supply of one’s self on an assembly line. Eventually, the button breaks, and the clones begin to malfunction as their faces melt, limbs fall off, and shoot off sparks in terrorizing pandemonium.

Check out the music video for The Strokes’ latest single, “Bad Decisions”, below. The New Abnormal, the band’s first album since 2013, is due out on April 10th via RCA Records.

The Strokes have kept busy leading up to the album’s release, as they recently performed at a Bernie Sanders campaign rally where they debuted “At The Door”, another track from The New Abnormal. After four shows abroad in Germany, France, and the U.K., the band will hit the road for a North American tour beginning on March 5th with a show at Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. After that, they will play a series of West Coast dates before heading south to Mexico, and eventually going even further south to Chile and Barcelona as part of the traveling Lollapalooza festivals.
