[UPDATE 6/23/21]: The Werks have announced that the annual Werk Out Music & Arts Festival will no longer take place in a socially distant, pod format. The Werks’ 11th iteration of the event will revert to a general admission affair, still set to take place July 23rd and 24th at Legend Valley in Thornville, OH.
In addition to the annexation of the pods, The Werks have also added The Werk Out Super Jam featuring members of The Werks, Papadosio, and Dopapod, who are all slated to perform at the festival. The three bands have a storied history together, having united at the last Werk Out in 2019 for an all-star recreation of Pink Floyd‘s The Wall, coming five years after the bands previously convened for a telling of Dark Side Of The Moon.
With the move from pods to GA, fans are now able to purchase tickets in the general admission area as well as premium and super-premium seats to secure an even better spot for the show. The Werk Out has also expanded camping so that now all attendees are able to stay overnight for free, with those who already purchased camping passes automatically upgraded to car camping status.

[3/10/21]: The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival has announced the socially distant 2021 edition of the long-running Ohio festival set to take place on July 23rd and 24th, 2021 at Legend Valley. In addition to nightly performance by host band The Werks, the two-day event will feature two nights of Papadosio, Dopapod, lespecial, DIZGO, Dustin Smith & The Daydreamers, and Stringus Khan.
The 2021 edition of The Werk Out comes after a year off for the festival in 2020, though the 2020 event was notably not canceled due to COVID-19. The announcement that The Werk Out would take 2020 off came in February of last year, prior to the start of the pandemic-dictated live music shutdown. The Werks did, however, manage to get in couple of drive-in shows at the fan-favorite Ohio venue in October.
Tickets for the socially distant 2021 edition of The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival will go on sale on Friday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. ET here.

The event will be ticketed in the now-familiar “pod” format (eight-foot square sections with six-foot buffers on all sides). When purchasing tickets, fans may choose from a minimum of two attendees per pod to a maximum of six attendees per pod. Tickets range in price for various different “zones” on the concert field.
