Normally, seeing live music means going to a certain place… but what if there was a way to change that? That’s what the Bloody Sunday Sessions have accomplished, as musicians ride through the streets of New Orleans’ French Quarter, performing on horse-drawn carriages! It’s an incredible concept that makes for a one-of-a-kind performance experience, and we’re excited to premiere the third video in our collaborative series with BSS.

Check out beloved Americana band The Wood Brothers, jamming out their song “One More Day” through Royal Street in New Orleans.

Watch The Wood Brothers Perform “I Got Loaded” On A Carriage Through The Streets Of New Orleans

Sound engineer and producer, Eric Heigle, thought of the idea on his balcony, while living in the oldest apartment building in the United States. Watching the carriages pass by during breaks from a home studio recording session, it seemed only logical to put the two together. Add some Bloody Mary’s to the mix, and the rest is history in the making.

Stay tuned to L4LM for more Bloody Sunday Sessions!
